Sr. Media Sales Account Executive (National Sales) - Earn $200K or more!

(Base salary is $100,000 to $120,000, OTE is $200,000 or more annually)

The Job:

The Sr. Media Sales Account Executive develops and manages national or regional business campaigns through prospecting and thoughtful outreach to potential national or regional advertising clients by email, cold calls, face-to-face meetings, social media, and other techniques.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops and manages national or regional business campaigns through prospecting and thoughtful outreach to potential national or regional advertising clients by email, cold calls, face-to-face meetings, social media, and other techniques.

  • Sets value-added, consultative sales meetings where you can gather information and at the same time demonstrate the aptitude to make recommendations that could be value-added to the client.

  • Be an amazing listener so you can understand needs and have the wherewithal to quickly make suggestions and qualify along the way, so you can deliver the most meaningful proposal possible while being the client’s advocate. When meetings are not possible, have the ability to qualify through email and get clients interested in reviewing opportunities. Bring up the most relevant of our selling propositions for the client you’re engaging with.

  • Work with data analyst to generate proposals capable of meeting client criteria. Be capable of sorting, filtering data to produce a meaningful recommendation for your clients.

  • Meaningfully follow up in a manner that shows you are empathetic to the client and his/her needs, and demonstrate you want them to succeed with our medium and will be with them every step of the way.

  • Write clear proposals (proactive and from RFPs) to close business, and follow up professionally, adding value at every step, ensuring your client’s justification for investing in Terraboost and that they will continue to advertise with us.

  • Renew advertisers by examining results and improving recommendations for the future.

  • Follow up with inbound leads from time to time. Maintain accurate pipeline and report out on a weekly basis.

  • Be a valued member of our team and family that truly believes in what we’re doing.

  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions as directed by management.

  • Complete daily and weekly sales reporting using assigned tools.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Great question asker, even better listener.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

  • Positive attitude is essential. Must have a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.

  • Great qualifier to focus on specific actionable opportunities.

  • Ability to work with data and hone-in on solutions.

  • Self-starter and proactive problem solver.

  • Strong computer skills and high level of proficiency with CRMs, MS Office, Windows, LinkedIn, Facebook, and social media platforms.

  • Travel is not required, but can be helpful.

  • Strong persuasive and negotiation skills.

  • Great interpersonal and presentation skills with strong closing abilities.

  • Be coachable and willing to learn and adhere to proprietary Terraboost Media sales techniques.

  • Proven success or a desire to succeed.

Minimum Required Education and Work Experience:

  • A minimum of (2) years of SaaS sales experience (5 years preferred), plus a bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Communications, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field.
